LONDON, U.K – British Prime Minister, Theresa May this evening survived a No Confidence vote triggered by 48 conservative MPs in the British parliament.
At the end of the voting process, 200 MP voted in her favour, giving her the privilege to remain as Tory leader. A total of 117 MPs voted against her.
The result was greeted by cheers and applause from Tory MPs. Prior to the vote, Theresa May had said she won’t run for election in 2022
Speaking after the votes, the British Prime Minister thanked Tory MPs for supporting her. Adding that the next task is to deliver on the Brexit deal.
She will be heading to the European Parliament to deliver more deals ahead of Brexit.
