The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola cancelled the exercise to enable students taking part in the Common Entrance Examination to travel from their homes to examination centres with ease.
The governor’s order canceled the earlier announcement by Commissioner for the Environment, Mr. Tunji Bello who had insisted that the exercise would hold.
Fashola in far away London called on residents of the state to however come out early enough and clean up their environment so as to maintain a healthy lifestyle even though there will be no restriction of movement.
