[wysija_form id=”1″]April 28, 2015 – Residents of Ijora, Lagos had it rough throughout the night over massive fire outbreak that  burnt down over 100 bolt up buildings in the area.

Just as firemen struggled to contain that fire another incident occurred involving a chemical plant  at No.33 Onile Wura Street, Ikotun.

The raging fire at Ijora caused a lot of panic as resident run here and there trying to salvage some of their belongings.  No life was lost, but over 100 bolt up buildings are said to have been consumed by the fire.

Director of Fire, Lagos State Fire Service, Mr. Rasaq Fadipe said that his men had a hectic night trying to put off the fire incidents in Lagos.  He said two fire trucks have been stationed at the chemical plant at Ikotun to battle the fire which he said was still raging early this morning.
