The radical Islamic sect, Boko Haram on Monday released another video of the over 200 girls abducted from Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, Borno, Nigeria.

The girls were spotted in a desert, shielded by shrubs but clad with black Hijab. Seated in groups, the girls were not looking tired neither were they looking hungry.

In the video obtained by AFP, showed the girls reciting the Quaran, with members of the sect promising to release the girls in exchange for their members now in detention across the federation.

Speaking in the video, Shekau said he and his men have converted the girls from Christian to Islam. “These girls you occupy yourselves with .. we have liberated them. These girls have become Muslims. There are still others who have not converted and are holding on to your beliefs”, he said adding, “You are making so much noise about Chibok, only Allah knows how many women we are holding, the infidels who Allah commanded us to hold”, he said.

Shekau said he will not release the girls until ‘our brethren’ are released.
