ABUJA, Nigeria – At least four members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, running for Chairmanship of the party at the ongoing national convention at the Eagle Square in Abuja, have withdrawn from the race.
Those who have withdrawn are Former Military Governor of Ondo State, Chief Olabode George, former Mnister of Education, Professsor Tunde Adeniran, former Chairman of Daar Communication, owners of Raypower and African Independent Television, AIT, Chief Raymond Dokpesi and former governorship candidate of the PDP in Lagos, Mr. Jimi Agbaje.
Resignation of these top shots not leaves the race for grabs by Former Chairman of PDP, Mr. Uche Secondus and former governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel and others.
