CAPE TOWN, South Africa – Cape Town is no doubt the most beautiful city in contemporary South Africa and perhaps on the global scene.
I had visited in 2005 as a young journalist in a trip that took me through Johannesburg, Sandton and Sun City. But so much has been achieved in Cape Town in a matter of twenty years.
The city has been transformed into an unbeatable tourist attraction that now boast of 22 million visitors each year.
Besides, it is basically a white enclave since the original black settlers were displaced during the apartheid era and has evolved as one of the most expensive city to own a property.
This is quite understood since most of the land was reclaimed from the sea and surrounding rocky mountains.
It is a beautiful city with everything that it takes to make your holiday the most enjoyable and an unforgettable experience.
There are beaches, breathtaking shopping complexes, nice rides, parks, buildings with a touch of architectural perfection, botanical gardens, cable car, nice hotels, nice cuisine and a very good weather.
