Abbas calls for ceasefire

RAMALLAH – U.S. Secretary of State, Antony Blinken has landed in Ramallah and made a commitment to the realization of a Palestinian State.
Blinken who met with the Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas also made a commitment to aid delivery and resumption of essential services.
Blinken said Israel must take every step to avoid civilian casualties. He made the commitment amid protests by Palestinians against U.S support for Israel in the war on Gaza.
Meanwhile Abbas has demanded a ceasefire to the war on Gaza.
Meanwhile, the IDF has said soldiers are exposing how Hamas systematically uses civilian facilities for its terror activity.
“IDF soldiers located rocket launchers near a children’s swimming pool, as well as launch pits and rocket launchers in an old children’s playground in the Gaza Strip.
“This is further proof of Hamas’ deliberate use of civilian infrastructure and civilians – including children – as human shields for its military operations”.
