Hilary however defeated Sanders in Kentucky. So far, Clinton still maintains the lead and remains the sure candidate to emerge as flag bearer of the party. So far, she leads with 2, 294 delegates in a ration of 1773 pledge: 521 super delegates, while Sanders trails with a total of 1,523 delegates in a ratio of 1482 pledge: 41 super delegates.
Addressing supporters after the race, Sanders derided many who have called on him to step out of the race adding, “we are in until the last ballot is cast”, he said.
