LAGOS, Nigeria – Burundian artiste, Belle 9ice has been able to weave honey-toned vocals into Afropop, R&B with Buja Flava instrumentation in her debut effort, Ibuntu. With a multilingual approach, the singer relays tales of love with assistance from Sat-B and Bain Turo.
The Trio combine on the catchy DJ Korona, Herbert Skillz- and Ayo Mesesi- produced “Like”, while the zouk-infused “Your Heart” and amapiano-tinged “Sina Do” add an eclectic touch to the rhythms of East African pop.
