MUNICH – Bayern Munich are interested in the signing of World Cup champion winger Julián Álvarez from Manchester City and midfielder Adrien Rabiot from Juventus, the Sports Bild newspaper reported.
Rabiot has a contract with the Italian side until June, while Álvarez signed a deal with City until summer 2028.
Bayer are focusing their plans on signing a defensive midfielder as well as a forward, especially after the departure of top striker Robert Lewandowski last summer.
For the position, the Bavarians are reportedly looking at Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani and Tottenham’s Harry Kane as possible options.
