OYO, Nigeria – The security outfit set up by governors of the South West, Operation Amotekun is currently living up to expectation, following arrest of bandits who were on the verge of entering Ibarapa with dangerous weapons.
A total of 46 bandits were arrested by officials of the security outfit in Ibadan.
“The joint efforts of the Local Vigilante and the Operation Burst yielded good results when 46 bandits were apprehended before they could enter a village in Ibarapa North LG of Oyo State”, PDP, Oyo State twitted few minutes ago.
Items recovered from the bandits include machetes, some single barrel guns, daggers, knives, catapults and some live ammunition.
