ABUJA, Nigeria – Suspended Secretary General of the Federation, SGF, Babachir Lawal has said he is not aware that he has been suspended by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Speaking to reporters after a meeting with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, the embattled former SGFbsaid he was not aware of his suspension.
Babachir Lawal’s sispension was announced in a statement by Special Adviser to the President on Media, Mr. Femi Adesina. He was suspended along with Director General of the Nigerian Intelligence Agency, NIA, Mr. Ayo Oke.
They were suspended even as President Buhari has ordered full scale investigation into allegations levelled against them.
