TEHRAN, Iran – The Supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has ordered the Supreme National Security Council, SNSC to prepare for a retaliatory strikes on Israel.
In a report published by the New York Times, Ayotollah Ali Khamenei gave the order following a detailed report which was presented to him on casualties as well as scale of damage to Iran’s missile production capabilities, Air Defence Systems in Tehran, critical energy infrastructure and a main port affected by Israel’s strikes in the South.
According to the report, three Iranian affirmed that military commanders committed to prepare a list of likely targets in Israel.
Although no date has been fixed for the attacks, there are indications that it will take place after the U.S Presidential.
We gathered that the decision to strike after the election was taken so as not to give undue attention to the candidate of the Republican Party, Mr. Donald Trump.
