Nigeria, April 11, 2016 – The Lagos State Rapid Tax Prosecution Unit has begun prosecution of recalcitrant tax payers in the State. Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Adeniji Kazeem who disclosed this on Monday, said that Rapid Tax Prosecution Unit has filled all the necessary information at the State High Court for the arraignment of 28 tax defaulters referred by the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS) and prosecution has begun in earnest. Zürich, April 11, 2016 – Federation of International Football(FIFA) has warned Nigeria against implementing the April 8 judgment in Jos which sacked the Amaju Pinnick-led Nigerian Football Federation(NFF). The court had upheld all previous orders, which ruled in favour of Ambassador Chris Giwa. The NFF thereafter appealed the decision, and obtained a stay of execution order.
