Nigeria, August 3, 2016 -The Central Bank of Nigeria has directed banks operating within to accept cheques into savings account. The bank made the revelation via a circular signed by Director, Banking & Payments System Department, Dipo Fatokun. In the circular, the bank said customers with savings account linked to their BVN can deposit a maximum of N2 million cheque pewr day.
