LOKOJA, Kogi, Nigeria – A Kogi High Court sitting in Lokoja today admitted Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Senator Dino Melaye bail in the sum of N10 million with one surety in like sum.
Dino Melaye was arraigned on allegation of gun running. Earlier, lawyer to Melaye, Chief Mike Ozekhome(SAN) had argued that the continued incarceration of the senator will geopadise his health conduction and urged the court to grant his client bail. He submitted that there was nothing to show the court that the defendant would jump bail.
Ruling on his bail application, Justice Nasir Ajana admitted the senator to bail in the sum of N10 million with one surety in like sum.
