ABUJA, Nigeria – Super Falcon striker Asisat Oshoala has been named African Footballer of the Year 2016 at the Glo CAF Award in Abuja, Nigeria.
His team, Super Falcon also won Women National Team of the year 2016. The Ugandan National Team is Won CAF national team of the year, Memelodi Sundowns is Club of the Year, Kelechi Iheanacho won the Most Promising Talent, Alex Iwobi, Youth Player of the year, Pitso Mosimane was named African Coach of the Year.
Other winners are Bakary Papa Gassama is Referee of the Year,
