Armed robbers notify residents of intention to storm Denro, Akute
DENRO, Ogun, Nigeria – Fear has gripped residents of Denro, Akute, Ogun State following a letter from audacious group of armed robbers, called Champion Boys, who have written a terse but very fearful letter to residents of this sprawling settlement on the outskirts of Ogun State, informing them of their intention to visit.
In the undated letter which has the theme, “Warning, Warning, Warning for the people of Denro, Akute ” handwritten in Yoruba language, the robbers made it clear that there is no going back on their decision to visit the area.

The gang of armed robbers who identified themselves as Champions Boys, wrote at a time that Ogun State and Lagos are under lockdown, with all residents at home as a result of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic which has killed almost 60,000 people worldwide and afflicted over one million people.
In the letter to Denro residents, the Champion Boys said they are aware that residents have put their trust in security guards and would have reinforced for the purpose of this letter, but that nevertheless they are paying the much publicised visit.
They urged residents to keep in place their spoil otherwise the visit will result in disaster.
