November 28, 2015 – An Appeal Court, sitting in Makurdi, Benue State has annulled the election of ex-President of the Senate and candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. David Mark.
The court also ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) to conduct another election in Benue South Senatorial District within 90 days.
Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Daniel Onjeh had appealed the decision of INEC to declare Senator Mark as winner of the poll, citing electoral irregularities.
