LAGOS, Nigeria – The All Progressive Congress(APC) has released a list of 13 candidates cleared by the John Oyegun Screening Committee to contest the primaries slated for Monday, June 6, 2022.
Those cleared by the committee to contest the primaries are , Abubakar Badaru, Godswill Akpabio Obot, Amaechi Chibuike Rotimi, Amosun Ibikunle, Bello Yahaya, Fayemi, John Kayode and Jack –Rich Tein.
Others are Lawan Ahmed, Nwajiuba, Chukwuemeka Uwaezuoke, Onu Christopher, Osinbajo Yemi , Tinubu, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola and Umahi, Uweze David.
Meanwhile, the Jigawa State Governor, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar has stepped down in line with request of the leaders and governors of the Northern states to allow a candidate from the south to fly the fly the flag of APC during the 2023 general elections.
