December 15, 2014 – Feelers reaching our news desk revealed that the All Progressive Congress (APC) has picked former Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice Lagos State, Professor Yemi Osibajo as running mate to General Muhammadu Buhari who last Friday emerged as Presidential flag-bearer of the party.
Chieftains of the party have been meeting in the last 24 hours to pick a good VP candidate for Buhari.
Sources say Osibajo flawed all other candidates, the Rivers State Governor, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi(Christian), Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola (Muslim) and Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole(Christian).
Osibajo a Christian, served as Commissioner for Justice under the former governor of Lagos State, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He is a very loyal and has always been with Tinubu even in his most critical moment.
Sources revealed the following as possible permutation that produced Osibajo. We gathered that three parties fused into APC,(ANPP, ACN and CPC). We were informed that the All Nigeria’s Peoples Party(ANPP) produced, former Governor of Edo State, Mr. John Oyegun as Chairman of APC, while the Congress for Progressive Change, (CPC), Buhari’s party produced Buhari as President while Action Congress of Nigeria(ACN), Tinubu’s party produced Osibanjo as Vice President.
