A SICK creep who terrorised women by filming them through their own bedroom windows in the dead of night is facing a hefty prison sentence.
Anthony Durkan, 35, wore a full face balaclava and dressed all in black as he lurked outside residential properties in Islington, North London, secretly recording female victims inside their homes.
The serial peeping tom admitted to a staggering 26 counts of voyeurism after Met Police officers caught him red-handed in a dramatic late-night sting.

The predatory campaign was finally blown wide open in January when a horrified resident was alerted by a neighbour that a masked figure was creeping around her property in the early hours.
Disturbing footage captured on a Ring doorbell showed Durkan creeping up to ground-floor windows and holding his smartphone against the glass to film women who had no idea they were being watched.
Just weeks later in March, another brave victim spotted the pervert peering through her window. She bravely confronted the creep, sending him fleeing into the night.
Detectives linked the two cases due to the identical outfit and tactics used by the intruder.
Undercover Police Trap
Met Cops launched targeted undercover patrols across Islington. On their very first night lying in wait, plain-clothed officers in an unmarked police car spotted Durkan creeping towards a residential address.
Cops watched in disbelief as Durkan carried out the exact same sinister routine before swooping in to handcuff him on the spot.
A raid on his phone revealed a hidden vault packed with hundreds of illicit photos and videos of unsuspecting women. Raiding his home on Corporation Street, police seized five more phones and a hidden camera.
DCI Warns of ‘Predatory Behaviour’
DCI Gemma Alger, who led the investigation, said:
”Durkan’s offending represented a serious and sustained course of predatory behaviour, deliberately targeting women who were entirely unaware they were being filmed, without their consent and in the privacy of their own homes.
”This conviction reflects the severity of these crimes and means a dangerous individual has been removed from the streets of London.”
Police Appeal for More Victims
Durkan pleaded guilty to seven counts of voyeurism in March, before admitting to a further 19 charges at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court. He will now be sentenced at Snaresbrook Crown Court.
Officers suspect Durkan’s campaign of terror stretches back to January 2020 and are urging other potential victims to come forward.
