AWKA, Anambra – The Supreme Head of the Absolute Liberation Temple, Nri, Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State, Prophet Dr. Ramas Okoye-Asuzu, has declared that the gods and elders of Nigeria have concluded that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu must be allowed to complete his constitutionally permitted eight-year tenure.
Dr. Okoye-Asuzu also commended the Governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, for what he described as the remarkable transformation and improved security currently being witnessed in the state.
The prophet made these declarations on Sunday while briefing journalists at his country home in Agu-Ukwu, Nri.
According to him, the oracles of the land, the elders of the nation, and spiritual authorities cutting across the Yoruba, Igbo, and Hausa ethnic groups have unanimously agreed that President Tinubu should complete his eight years in office.
He recalled that despite the intense political pressure and frustrations Tinubu faced during the 2023 general elections, including the controversial currency redesign and other challenges allegedly meant to derail his ambition, he still emerged as President.
“When he contested for the presidency, they frustrated him with the currency change and many other obstacles. Yet, the gods of the land and the Almighty decreed that Bola Ahmed Tinubu must become President, and today he is. Therefore, he must be allowed to complete his tenure,” he said.
Dr. Okoye-Asuzu stated that, as a spiritualist, he consulted the gods of the land following the recent meeting of South-East governors in Enugu. He said the verdict from the spiritual consultation was clear.
“The elders, the land, and the waters have agreed that Nigerians should allow President Tinubu to complete his tenure. The oracles of Nigeria have approved that he must serve his full eight years,” he declared.
He insisted that his position was neither politically motivated nor influenced by financial inducement.
“As the eyes, I fear no man under the sun. I speak only the truth. I have not received a kobo from any politician, and nobody has influenced me. I am saying what the oracle has revealed: Nigerians must allow Tinubu to complete his tenure.
The oracle also said that after Tinubu, the Igbo presidency will be between Peter Obi and David Umahi,” he said.
The prophet further noted that Tinubu’s political struggles dated back to 1993, when he went into exile during the military era, describing him as a man who had sacrificed greatly for the survival of democracy in Nigeria.
“Tinubu has done everything a man can do to ensure true democracy survives in this country,” he added.
Speaking on the Igbo presidency, Dr. Okoye-Asuzu lamented what he described as internal disunity among the Igbo people.
“A kingdom divided against itself cannot stand. Even before independence and during the time of amalgamation, no Igbo person was properly represented. Our major problem as Ndi Igbo is that we do not speak with one voice. We lack unity, we no longer respect our elders, and we worship money. These are the reasons we are becoming weak and fragmented,” he said.
Commending Governor Soludo, the prophet praised his administration’s efforts in improving security, stating that Anambra State has become one of the safest states in Nigeria.
“What we all witnessed this December shows that Anambra is one of the safest states in Nigeria. The massive return of people for Christmas is evidence. I commend Soludo, Nwagbafọ, for his great work. Apart from the unfortunate incident in Ifuma, Anambra remains safe. We pray that those miscreants involved will be arrested,” he stated.
He, however, condemned the practice of members of the Agụnaechemba security outfit operating while masked, warning that such anonymity could be exploited for criminal activities.
“It is better they remove the masks so that we know who is guarding the community. Masking themselves can lead to abuse and dirty games,” he cautioned.
Dr. Okoye-Asuzu also once again praised Governor Soludo for his achievements.
“Soludo has done so much and has done well. I thank him for his wonderful deeds in Anambra State,” he said
