November 11, 2015 – The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode has appointed two Managing Directors, that of United Bank for Africa Plc, Mr. Phillips Oduoza and that of Access Bank, Mr. Herbert Wigwe into the board of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund(LSSTF).
Other members of the board are Mr. Yemi Idowu, Mr. Opeyemi Agbaje, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Mr. Isreal Ajao (rtd), Commissioner for Housing, Mr. Gbolahan Lawal and Special Adviser, Office of Overseas Affairs and Investment, Professor Ademola Abass.
Secretary to the Lagos State Government, Mr. Tunji Bellow who announced the appointment said the governor also appointed Mr. Oye Hassan-Odukale as new Chairman of the board and a former Deputy Majority Leader in the State House of Assembly, Dr. Abdulrasak Mobolaji Balogun as Executive Secretary of the board.
He said the appointment is subject to confirmation by the Lagos State House of Assembly and that the appointments were made following expiration of the tenure of the former chairman, Chief Remi Makanjuola and resignation of its Executive Secretary, Mr. Fola Arthur-Worrey.
