OYO, Nigeria – Former Governor of Oyo State, Chief Alao Akala is dead. Akala died in the early hours of Wednesday in his sleep. He was 71.
Akala who was a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC reportedly died just few hours after his return from Abuja.
Born 3rd June1950, Christopher Alao Akala who had a glorious career in the Nigeria Police Force, retired as Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of Logistics and Supply.
