February 10, 2015 – Director General, Jonathan/Sambo Campaign Organisation, Dr. Ahmadu Ali has cast aspersion on the integrity of Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC), Professor Attahiru Jega.
Ali who was speaking at a press conference in Abuja queried Jega, wondering why more PVCs should be collected in a state like Borno that is under siege than Lagos State.
“Why should a state like Borno which is under siege have more PVCs distributed than Lagos”, he queried.
He said that the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) is ready for the election at any time adding that he is confident that his party will celebrate come May 29.
“We will celebrate come May 29 when President Goodluck Jonathan will be sworn in for another term of four years” he said.
He said the extension will enable INEC to put the PVC into the hands of more Nigerians.
