LAGOS, Nigeria – Self-styled defender of Yorubaland, Mr. Sunday Adeyemo better known as Sunday Igboho could not be arrested today when gunmen suspected to be policemen stormed his resident in the early hours of Monday.
We gathered that the gunmen, who surrounded his home shot sporadically into the air when they visited his home but their mission failed a second time.
“My house was attacked by some yet to be identified gunmen in the early hours of today”, Sunday Igboho said, adding that “as usual, they failed again. They will always fail. Oodua”, he said confirming the attack.

Sunday Igboho has openly spoken in defence of Yorubaland especially following the onslaught of Fulani Herdsmen in Nigeria at a time that notable leaders of Yoruba failed for political reason and he is currently seen as the emancipator of the Yoruba race.
