November 6, 2014 – Former Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Government, Mr. Ayodele Adewale has called for a thorough investigation into what he describes as deadly attack on him in Festac Town, Lagos.
The chairman who narrated his ordeal to journalists on Wednesday said the attack took place at 11 Road, and that he narrowly escaped death.
He said his security vehicle was badly damaged and his driver was almost killed by the assailant. He alleged that his attackers were led by Mr. Ayuba Okeshola and Niyi of the Community Policing Youth Vanguard in Festac Town.
He has called on relevant authority to probe the circumstances surrounding the attempted assassination on him.
