EDE, Osun, Nigeria – Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, who was today sacked by Osun State Election tribunal has rejected the judgment.
In a press statement, Adeleke described the judgement as a miscarriage of justice and vowed to go to the court of appeal to seek redress.
He also faulted the resolution on over voting in favour of Gboyega Oyetola, calling it an unfair interpretation against the will of the people of Osun.
While calling for calm, he said he will appeal the judgement, insisting that he remains the rightful winner of July 16th election
“ I call on the people to remain calm. We will appeal the judgement. We are sure justice will be done. Let our people be reassured that we will do everything possible to retain this widely acclaimed mandate”, he said.
