LAGOS, Nigeria – Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku has emerged winner of the presidential election in Gombe State.
Atiku polled 319, 123 votes to emerged winner of the poll in the state. His closest rival, Senator Ahmed Tinubu of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC scored 146, 977 votes to come second.
The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Mr. Peter Obi secured 26, 160 votes to come third in Gombe State in the result already announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP scored 10, 520 votes to come forth in the presidential election.
