UMUAHIA, Nigeria – A philanthropist and sports lover, Mr. Obioma Okorie, has instituted the man-of-the-match award for Abia Warriors home games in this season’s Nigeria professional Football league.
Mr. Okorie, the Chief Executive Officer of the industrial outfit, “Obioma Enterprises” announced his willingness to dish our\t N100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Naira) and other gifts for an outstanding player during each of Abia Warriors home matches this season while interacting with Abia Warriors officials in his office at the New Industrial Market, Umuahia.
The philanthropist, who has always supported sports in all its ramifications, said he will always stand behind Abia Warriors, and called on other well-to-do individuals and corporate bodies to join him in lifting the club to greater heights.
