APGA to flag off campaign next week

UMUAHIA, Abia, Nigeria – All Progressive Grand Alliance, (APGA), Abia State will formally flag off its campaigns for the 2023 general elections on December 22, 2022.

According to a statement issued by the Director, Media & Publicity of Abia campaign committee Rev. Ogbonnaya Ogwo  all candidates will receive the party flag.

Highlight of the event will be formal presentation of flags to candidates of the party for the 2023 election including the governorship flag bearer, Professor Gregory Ibe, National and State House of Assembly candidates.

The ceremony, according to  the Director General of APGA Governorship Campaign Council in the state, Dr Longman Nwachukwu, is scheduled hold at  the Event Centre at Isi Gate Umuahia by 11:00am.

He  enjoined members and supporters of the party to attend the event en masse. He reinterated  the commitment of APGA to the birth of a new Abia, urging  the people to sustain their unflinching support for the party and its candidates in the forthcoming polls.

According to him, time has come for all progressive Abians to unite behind APGA to free the state from the hands of undemocratic forces holding her down.

He assured   that under the watch of Professor Ibe the current unpalatable narrative of Abia will definitely change for  the better.

” The emergence of Professor Greg Ibe as Abia Governor will mark the end of bad governance and the beginning of new dawn in Abia” he stated.
