ABUJA, Nigeria – Political gladiators in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP on Saturday gathered at the Eagle Square Abuja where they elected national officers that will lead the party from now, even as former national Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus takes the battle to secure his tenure to the Supreme Court.
Former President of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Iyorchia Ayu was elected as the PDP National Chairman, while Umar Damagun was elected Deputy National Chairman, North and Taofeek Arapaja as Deputy National Chairman, South.
Other positions are Samuel Anyamwu elected National Secretary, while Ahmed Mohammed got National Treasurer. Umar Bature was elected National Organising Secretary.
Daniel Woyegikuro was elected National Financial Secretary, while Professor Stella Effah-Attoe emerged National Women’s Leader . Muhammed Suleiman became the PDP National Youth Leader while Kamaldeen Ajibade became the party’s National Legal Adviser.
Debo Ologunagba was picked as National Publicity Secretary while the position of National Auditor went to Okechuckwu Daniel . Setoji Kosheodo became the party’s Deputy National Secretary, while Ndubuisi David was elected Deputy National Treasurer .
Ibrahim Abdullahi was elected PDP’s Deputy National Publicity Secretary, while Ighoyota Amori was elected Deputy National Organising Secretary of the party and Adamu Kamale was picked as PDP Deputy National Financial Secretary .
Hajara Wanka is now PDP Deputy National Women’s Leader , while Timothy Osadolor became the party’s Deputy National Youth Leader. Okechukwu Osuoha was picked as Deputy National Legal Adviser and Abdulrahman Mohammed is now PDP’s Deputy National Auditor.
