Coronavirus: 2360 die in the United States as new cases hit 44, 478 in UK

LAGOS, Nigeria – There are now 239,  958, 362  all time cases of Coronavirus pandemic, 4, 887, 425  patients have passed on, while  6, 584, 273, 070 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the recent statistics from the centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

According to the centre, the United States remains the most affected country, with 44,848, 523  all time infections, while723, 385 patients are no more(91, 064 new and 2360 deaths*) and India, which has registered 34, 037, 592  total cases, while 451, 814 lives are no more(16, 862 new and 379 deaths*) and Brazil which has documented 21,612, 237 all time cases and 602, 099 deaths.

The United Kingdom remains the 4^th country most hit, reporting 8, 400, 908  total cases of Coronavirus infections, while 138, 792 patients have given up the ghost(44, 478 new and 147 deaths*), followed by Russia now reporting 7, 804, 750 confirmed cases, while 217,382 patients are now dead from the virus(31, 362 new and 979 deaths*) and Turkey, which has documented 7, 601,596 all time cases, while 67, 225 patients could not make it alive(30, 694 new and 181 deaths*).

 France remains the7th country worst hit, with 7, 180, 773 confirmations and 118, 152 deaths(6193 new and 42 deaths*) , followed by Iran with 5, 765,904 all time cases, while 123,695 patients are no more(11, 857 new and 197 deaths*) and  Argentina which has reported 5, 270, 003  all time cases, while 115,633 lives have been wasted(1350 new and 51 deaths*).

Spain is the 10^th most afflicted country in the world, reporting 4, 984, 386 all time cases, while 86, 974 lives have perished(2248 new and 57 deaths*) and South Africa, the most affected country in Africa. South Africa has registered 2, 915, 560  confirmed cases and 88, 562 deaths(733 new and 56 deaths*).
