Gains, losses as Big Brother Naija shocks romantic couples

LAGOS, Nigeria – Biggie on Thursday night rewarded Liquorose and Emmanuel, two couples whose relationship almost hit the rock in the television reality show, Big Brother Shine Ya Eye, while Saga and Nini got the nocks for failing to deliver.

Biggie had asked Liquorose to orchestrate a fake breakup with her lover Emmanuel, she successfully executed the plot, despite unrelenting plea from Emmanuel, a development  that got him thinking for several hours, wondering what he could have done to warrant such a heartbreak.

But it ended up well, with a romantic dinner for the two and for the first time Liquorose and Emmanuel hugged and kissed passionately in the Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye.

Besides the romantic dinner for two, they were also rewarded with Abeg Naira.  Big Brother later allowed the couple to call in two others to join them in the dinner. They picked Cross and his new love, Angel.

But it was a tale of different ending for couples in the Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye. Liquorose was not the only housemate asked to orchestrate a fake breakup.

Saga was equally requested to orchestrate similar game on Nini. But he fell like a pack of cards. He could not control himself when Nini broke down emotionally due to the first snub.

He could not hold him on and had to confess the secret to Nini.  For doing this  Emmanuel will need just one more strike to exit  disgracefully from the Big Brother show.  This is beside  the punishment  Big Brother made the two to go through:  They were made to clean up the Arena, deliberately messed up by Big Brother as punishment.

They were not given any broom. They had to improvise from flowers and trees nearby to carry out this very tedious task of cleaning the artificial field and make it as neat as it was when  the housemates were admitted into the house.
