    Coronavirus: 1374 die in Brazil, 171, 123 new cases in Colombia, Nigeria 407

    LAGOS – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 407 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases to  174, 315.  But out of the  174, 315 confirmed cases,  165, 005 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 149 patients could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 7,161 active cases of Coronavirus.

    NCDC: 407 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria;Lagos – 160, Akwa Ibom – 75,  Ondo – 51, Abia – 33, Oyo -29, Kaduna – 18, Katsina -7,  Gombe -6,  Ogun – 6,  Ekiti – 5, Delta – 4,  FCT – 4, Ebonyi – 3,  Edo – 2,  Niger – 2,  Bayelsa – 1, Nasarawa – 1: 174, 315 confirmed;  165, 005 discharged, 2, 149 deaths”, the NCDC has announced.

    There are now 198, 227, 874  confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic, 4, 223, 255 patients are already dead, while 4, 112, 602, 983  doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest  statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

    According to centre, the United States remains the most afflicted, reporting 34, 997, 105 all time cases, while 613, 223 patients are no more(32, 917 new and  113 deaths*), followed by India with 31,655,824  confirmed cases, while 424, 351 patients have passed on(41, 831 new and 541 deaths*) and Brazil which has  registered 19, 938, 358   all time cases,  while 556,834  patients have passed on(58, 085 new and 1374 deaths*) .

    France has come up as the 4th country worst hit, reporting 6, 209, 934  all time cases, while  112,073 lives are no more alive(19,773 new and 19 deaths*) and Russia which has reported 6, 207, 513 confirmed cases, while 156,726  patients have been killed by the virus(22, 264 new and 774 deaths*) and the United Kingdom, which has registered  5, 907, 592  confirmed cases, while 130, 014 patients have perished from the virus(24, 177 new and 66 deaths*).

    Turkey has come up as the 7th country  most afflicted, reporting 5, 727, 045 all time cases while  51, 332 patients have kicked the bucket(22, 332 new and 59 deaths*), followed by Argentina which has reported 4, 935, 847  all time cases, while 105, 772  lives have perished(16, 439 new and 186 deaths*) and Colombia, which has documented 4, 947, 414  confirmed cases and 120, 998 deaths(171, 123 new 566 deaths*)

    Spain has come up as the 10th country most affected, reporting 4, 447,044 all time cases while 81, 486 patients have passed on and South Africa which has registered 2, 456, 184 cases, while 72, 191 patients have died(8730 new and 178  deaths*).
