    Coronavirus kills 3460 patients in India as Nigeria reports 30 new cases

    LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 30 new cases of Coronavirus in the country, bringing all time cases in the country  to 166, 315. But out of the 166, 315 all time cases, 156, 558 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2071 others  could not make it,  leaving Nigeria with 7686 active cases of Coronavirus in the country.

     “NCDC@NCDC gov 30 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-26, Rivers-3 and Kwara-1: 166,315 confirmed 156,558 discharged 2,071 deaths”, the NCDC has announced.

    There are now 170, 169, 065 confirmed cases of Coronavirus worldwide, 3, 537, 835 patients have lost their lives to the pandemic while 1, 864, 766, 956  doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

    According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, now reporting 33, 258, 547 all time cases, while 594, 430 patients have lost their lives(9277 new and 176 deaths*), followed by India which has registered 27,  894, 800  confirmed cases, while 325, 972 patients are no longer alive(167, 553 new and 3460 deaths*) and Brazil which has documented 16, 515, 120  all time infections while 461, 931 patients have kicked the bucket(123, 190 new and 2886 deaths*).

    France is the 4th country most hit, now reporting 5, 728, 418  all time cases, 109, 562  lives have been lost, (8541 new 44 deaths*) followed by Turkey which has reported 5, 242, 911  confirmed cases, while 47, 405 patients have been killed by the Coronavirus pandemic(6933 new and 134 deaths*) and Russia which has documented 5, 005, 171   all time infections, while 109, 130 patients are already dead(9558 new*).

    The United Kingdom remains the 7th country worst hit by the pandemic in terms of total number of deaths and infections so far.  The UK has reported 4, 499, 934 all time cases, while 128, 043 patients have lost their lives as a result of the pandemic(3111 new and 6 deaths*) and Italy which has registered 4, 216, 003 all time cases, while 126, 046 patients are already dead(2948 new and 44 deaths*) and Argentina which has reported 3, 753, 609 all time cases, while 77, 456 patients have been sacrificed by the virus(51, 187 new and 763 deaths*).

    Germany  remains the 10th country most afflicted, now reporting 3, 687, 715 confirmations, while 88, 431 patients have given up the ghost(3055 new and 52 deaths*) and South Africa now the 20th country most hit with 1, 659, 070   all time infections, while 56, 363  patients are already dead.
