Coronavirus: Nigeria reports 143 new cases 3035 active as USA records 186,484 in 24 hours

LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 143 new cases of Coronavirus in the country, bringing all time cases to 65,982. But out of the 65,982 confirmed cases, 61,782 patients have been treated and discharged, while 1,165 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 3035 active cases of Coronavirus, #Coronavirusnigeria.
Breakdown of the new cases is as follows, Lagos-70, Kaduna-25, Abuja-22, Ogun-11, Plateau-4, Oyo-4, Ekiti-3, Osun-2, Edo-1 and Kano-1, making a total of 143 new cases of Coronavirus.

There are now 57, 343,535 confirmed cases of Coronavirus worldwide, 1, 368,629 patients are dead, while 36, 705, 473 others have recovered. There are currently 19, 269, 433 active cases of Coronavirus worldwide based on the current statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University,(JHU) Maryland.
According to JHU, the United States of America remains the most affected country, reporting 11, 854, 203 all time cases, 253, 882 patients are no more, while 4, 410, 709 others have been treated and discharged, leaving the United States with 7, 189, 612 active cases of Coronavirus(186, 484 new cases), followed by India, which has reported 9,004, 365 all time infections, 132, 162 deaths, while 8, 428, 409 others have been treated and discharged, leaving India with 443, 591 remaining patients, hoping for the best of care to keep living(45, 882 new cases) and Brazil which has documented 5, 981, 767 all time infections, 168, 061 lives have been claimed by the virus, while 5, 406, 066 others have been able to survive the infectious disease, leaving Brazil with 407, 640 active cases of Coronavirus(35, 918 new cases).
France has come up as the 4th country most hit by the pandemic, reporting 2, 159,978 all time cases, 48, 339 people are already dead, while 155, 097 others have been discharged, leaving France with 1, 956, 542 current cases of Coronavirus(23, 111 new cases), followed by Russia which has documented 2,023, 025 confirmed cases, 34, 980 patients have been killed, while 1, 539, 352 others have recovered, leaving Russia with 448, 693 active cases of Coronavirus(24, 059 new cases), followed by Spain which has reported 1, 556, 730 all time cases, 42, 619 patients have passed on while maintaining that only 150, 376 patients have recovered since the outset of the pandemic, leaving Spain with 1, 363, 735 active cases of Coronavirus(15, 156 new cases).
The United Kingdom which has suffered the highest casualty in Europe remains the 7th country worst hit with 1, 477, 213 confirmed cases, 54, 388 patients have died as a result of the pandemic, while only 3, 260 patients have been fortunate to survive, leaving the UK with 1, 419, 565 active cases of Coronavirus, (20, 273 new cases) followed by Argentina with 1, 349, 434 total infections, 36, 532 deaths and 1, 167, 514 recoveries, leaving Argentina with 143, 388 active cases and Italy which has reported 1, 345, 767 all time cases, 48, 569 deaths, while 520, 022 patients have been treated and discharged, leaving Italy with 777, 176 active cases of Coronavirus(10, 097 new cases).
Colombia remains the 10th country most hit, reporting 1, 225, 490 all time cases, 34, 761 patients are already dead, while 1, 132, 393 others have recovered, leaving Colombia with 58, 336 active cases of Coronavirus(7,487 new cases) and South Africa as the 16th country most hit by the virus, reporting 762, 763 all time infections, 20, 759 deaths and 707, 040 recoveries, leaving South Africa with 34, 964 active cases of Coronavirus(3105 new cases).
