Banwo on the move with MoveNigeria50

LAGOS, Nigeria – Barrister Ope Banwo, an activist, social commentator and an internet expert has called on Nigeria youths to take the centre stage of all squares of governance as he launches MoveNigeria50.
Banwo said that #MoveNigeria50 is a national movement to mobilize support for youths under 50 to Register, Contest and hold political offices all over the country. He urges the youths to take a bold step after soro soke and the #endsars protest to also go the extra mile to get involved in governance.
Speaking on what it all entails, he said, #MoveNigeria50 is a national movement that will be composed of people of all ages to mobilize, Support, Promote and Sponsor youths under 50 years that are interested in political office.
Speaking on the modalities of the movement, Banwo said, members will be drawn from all local government and wards in the country, on various WhatsApp groups, and the social media, rubbing mind together on the way forward as those above 50 will guide and counsel the people, hence it is open to all regardless of their age. He advised those who have vast political experience to also get involved, so they can guide and nurture these youths.
Banwo said all these are bold steps in building a great and better Nigeria that will be beneficial to all. He made it categorically clear that the movement is not affiliated to any political party, and has no godfather, or serves the interest of any godfather of any kind.
It is purely a movement meant to put Nigeria on the path to its rightful place of greatness with all involved, so that life and living will be meaningful, beneficial and fair to all, be it education, health and infrastructures.
