    Coronavirus: Nigeria lists 62 new 3397 active, concern in France and UK over rising cases

    LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has confirmed 62 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria, bringing all time cases to 61,992.

    But out of the 61,992 confirmed cases 57,465 patients have been treated and discharged, while  1,130 others  could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 3, 397 active cases of Coronavirus.

    Breakdown of the new cases is as follows, Taraba-18 Ogun-15,  FCT-6, Kaduna-6, Katsina-4, Ondo-4, Ekiti-3, Rivers-3, Kano-1, Osun-1 and Sokoto-1, making a total of 62 new cases of Coroanvirus,#coronavirusngr.

    “NCDC@NCDCgov 62 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Taraba-18 Ogun-15,  FCT-6, Kaduna-6, Katsina-4, Ondo-4, Ekiti-3, Rivers-3, Kano-1, Osun-1 and Sokoto-1; 61,992 confirmed 57,465 discharged 1,130 deaths”, the NCDC has reported.

    There are presently  42, 884,475 active cases of Coronavirus globally, 1, 152, 314 patients are no more, while  28, 853, 536 others have survived the pandemic. There are now 12, 878, 625 active cases of Coronavirus worldwide, based on current statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

    According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted, reporting 8, 626, 537 all time cases of Coronavirus,  225, 197 patients are already dead, while 3, 406, 656 others have been treated and discharged, leaving the United States with 4, 994, 684 active cases of the pandemic(62, 997 new cases), followed by India which has documented  7,864, 811 all time cases,  118, 534 deaths and  7, 078, 123 recoveries, leaving India with 668, 154  patients still sick, hoping for the best of care to regain their health(50, 129 new cases), and Brazil which has documented 5, 380, 635 confirmed cases, 156, 903 deaths, while 4, 526, 393 others have overcome the virus, leaving Brazil with 697, 339  active cases of Coronavirus(26, 979 new cases).

    Russia, is the 4th country most hit by the virus with 1, 503, 652 cases confirmed over time, 25, 875 patients have passed on, while  1, 132, 790 patients have been treated and discharged by authorities, leaving Russia with 344, 987 active cases of Coronavirus(16, 392 new cases), followed by France with 1, 130, 081 confirmed cases, 34, 673 deaths and 114, 472 recoveries, leaving France with 980, 936 patients looking up for the best of care to keep living(45, 422 new cases) and Argentina, which has reported 1, 081, 336 cases over time,  28, 613 patients have passed on, while 881, 113 others have recovered from the pandemic, leaving Argentina with 171, 610 active cases of Coronavirus(11, 968 new cases).

    Spain is the 7th country most afflicted by the Coronavirus pandemic, reporting 1, 046, 132 all time cases,  34, 752 patients are already dead, while 150, 376 others have recovered,  leaving Spain with 861, 004 patients hoping for the best of medical care to get back on their feet, followed by Colombia which has reported 1, 007,711 confirmations, 30,000 deaths and 907, 379 recoveries, leaving Colombia with 70, 332 active cases of Coronavirus(8, 769 new cases) and Mexico 886, 800 confirmed cases,  88, 743 deaths and 746, 939 recoveries, leaving Mexico with 51, 118 active cases of the pandemic(6, 025 new cases).

    Peru  has been pushed to the 10th country most affected by the virus, reporting 886, 214 confirmations, 34, 095 patients have already died, while 803, 846 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Peru with 48, 273 active cases of Coronavirus and  the United Kingdom, which has reported 876, 840 confirmations,  44, 986 patients have kicked the bucket, while only 2, 685 patients have recovered since the outset of Coronavirus, leaving the UK with 829, 169 active cases of Coronavirus(39, 799 new cases) and South Africa which has documented 715,868 confirmed cases, 18, 968 deaths and 646, 170 recoveries, leaving South Africa with 50, 730 patients looking up to the best of care to get back on their feet(1, 622 new cases).

     Italy has been pushed down to the 14th country worst hit with 525, 782 confirmations,  37, 338 deaths and 266, 203 recoveries, leaving Italy with 222, 241 active cases of Coronavirus(21, 273 new cases) and China where Coronavirus was first reported. China has been pushed to the 53rd country worst hit, reporting 91,131 confirmed cases, 4, 739 deaths and 85, 983 recoveries, leaving China with 409 active cases of Coronavirus.
