“We have given delegates’ lists to all persons who are aspiring for governor in Anambra State under our platform.

“This has never happened before. We are bent on ensuring that the right person  is elected by the people.

“ Though, my name has been associated with a lot of aspirants, but the truth is that I cannot do much. The aspirants should go to the field and convince our party men and women. They already know who are the delegates to the primary election . Before now, the list is only produced a day or two to the election and usually compiled to favour one person or the other, but in this executive, we want to be open and  fair to all.

“This executive does not have a paymaster and we do not take order from   any paymaster. That is why we do not have enough money to do many  things we should do in this party because money bags who usually throw money about are not comfortable with us because we are not ready to do their biddings” he said

He urged aspirants to take their campaign to statutory delegates and other stakeholders whose lists had been made availed to them.

He also assured that under his watch there is no  way anyone will influence the primary election, because his dream was to get PDP together and united  for the 2021 governorship election.
