AKURE, Ondo – Deputy Governor of Edo State, Mr. Agboola Alfred Ajayi has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. Recall that Ajayi joined the PDP few months ago after decamping from the All Progressive Congress, APC.
Agboola Alfred Ajayi who lost the PDP primaries in Ondo to Eyitayo Jegede said he has moved to Zenith Labour Party(ZLP).
He said his movement will to enable him to further his political aspiration. Agboola is likely to be the Governorship candidate of the ZLP in the forth coming Ondo governorship election.
He thanked the ZLP leadership for the warm reception given to him when he joined the party.

“Today 10th August 2020, I Resign my membership from the People’s Democratic Party to join Zenith Labour party to further my Aspirations.
“I appreciate the National Leadership and members of the party for their warm reception and acceptance in the short period I rejoined the party”, he said in a statement on twitter.
