Coronavirus: Nigeria 242 new cases, 4541, China left with just 202 cases
80, 297 dead in U.S, 32, 141 dead in the U.K

LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has confirmed 242 new cases of the Coronavirus pandemic, bringing confirmed cases in Nigeria to 4641, while China where the pandemic originated now has just 242 cases left.
Out of the total cases in Nigeria, 902 patients have recovered and subsequently discharged while 150 patients have died.
However, a breakdown of the 242 new cases show that 88 were found in Lagos, 64 in Kano, 49 in Katsina, 13 in Kaduna, 9 in Ogun, 6 in Gombe, 4 in Adamawa, 3 in Abuja, 1 in Ondo, 1 in Oyo, 1 in Rivers, 1 in Zamfara, 1 in Borno and 1 in Bauchi.

There are however 4, 168, 427 confirmed cases worldwide, while 285, 445 patients have died based on statistics from the Centre for System Science and Engineering, John Hopkins University, Maryland.

According to the centre, the United States still tops most affected nations in terms of population affected and the total number of deaths. The U.S currently has a total of 1, 346, 163 confirmed cases of the Coronavirus pandemic, while 80, 297 patients have died, followed by Spain which now has 227, 436 cases while 26, 744 patients have died.
Next is United Kingdom which has reported 224, 332 cases while 32, 141 patients have died followed by Russia, which now has 221, 344 cases of the pandemic while 2009 patients. Next is Italy which has reported 219, 814 cases while 30, 739 patients have died.
However, China where the pandemic originated currently has 84,010 confirmed cases, 4,637 deaths while 79, 171 people have recovered and discharged, leaving China with just 202 cases.
