Gov Says some palliative unsuitable for consumption

AKURE, Ondo, Nigeria – Suspected killer of Mrs. Funke Olakunrin, daughter of Pa Fasoranti’s daughter has tested positive to the deadly Coronavirus. He was one of the three cases confirmed on Sunday to have tested positive to the Coronavirus pandemic in Ondo State.
Ondo State Governor, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu made the revelation in his regular updates on state of the Coronavirus in Ondo State.
“We have confirmed three other cases in Ondo state. One of the cases involves one of the recently arraigned suspects in the murder of Mrs Funke Olakunrin, Pa Fasoranti’s Daughter”, he said.
He also described as fake reports that Ondo State rejected palliative measures provided to the state through the Federal Government. According to him, at no time did the Ondo state reject anything from the federal government.

He however said that the state has experienced similar issues experienced by other states with some of bags, adding that those not suitable for consumption will be discarded.
“A lot of news making the rounds that we rejected rice from the FG. This is false. At no time did we reject anything from the FG. We nonetheless have experienced similar issues experienced by other states with some of the bags. Those not suitable for consumption will be discarded”, he said.
