Again, EFCC raids Club 360, nabs 89 internet fraud suspects

OYO, Ibadan, Nigeria – The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) in the early hours of Monday, swooped on Club 360 situated on the Akala Expressway, Oluyole Extension in Ibadan, Oyo State, leading to arrest of internet fraud suspects.

The operation which was carried out by officials of the Ibadan zonal office of EFCC saw the arrest of 89 internet fraud suspects.

Prior to the operation, officials of the EFCC said it discovered that the nigh club is notorious for harbouring suspected internet fraud suspects. Items such as vehicles, laptops and phones were recovered during that raid.

“In preparation for the late night operation, officers of the commission had carried out series of discreet surveillance on the nature of activities going on in the nightclub which, according to intelligence, was notorious for harboring suspected internet fraudsters.

“The raid also led to the confiscation of scores of vehicles, laptops, sophisticated phones and other items. The suspects are undergoing further interrogation”,  the commission said about the internet fraud suspects.
