LAGOS, Nigeria – Leader of Boko Haram sect in Nigeria, Shekau has threatened to bring war to the door steps of South Africa for targeting Nigerians in renewed xenophobic attacks.
So far, not less than 120 Nigerians have been killed, some burnt alive, some lost their means of livelihood.
But in a statement, Shekau said xenophobia was initiated by South African leaders and politicians, adding that they are acting as if they know nothing about what is happening.
“They can fool other African people, but not people like us”, adding that African politicians and leaders are animals.
Shekau who wrote and spoke on video said Boko Haram intends to bring war to South Africa.
“Now, we intend to bring war to South Africa, so they learn their lessons. Mind you our attacks will mainly be on South African Government houses and properties until they call their people to order”, he said.
“Our men are already on the ground and you will hear from us soon”, he said.
