DANGOTE SUGAR APPOINTS RAVINDRA SINGH SINGHVI AS COO

APAPA, Lagos, Nigeria – Dangote Sugar Refinery has appointed Mr. Ravindra Singh Singhvi as Chief Operating Officer of the company. In a statement to the Nigerian Stock Exchange, Company Secretary, Mr. Chioma Madubuko said he assumed duty August 13, 2018.

Ravindra Singh Singhvi has 37 years of proven experience in leadership position in manufacturing and processes in sugar, petrochemicals, cement and textiles products industries in India.

Ravindra Singh Singhvi is a chattered accountant with background in company secretarial duties and general management. He holds a bachellor decree in law from the University of Jodhpur, India.

Prior to joining Dangote Sugar Refinery, he was managing director and CEO of NSL Sugar Limited, Hyderagad, India, EID Parry Limited, Chennai, India. He was also president Indo Rama Group, Birla Group and Executive Director S. Kumar Nationwide among others.

He is said to have experience in turning around companies and improving performance operationally and financially.
