He was suspended along with members Board of Trustees, Sam Jaja, Senator Ibrahim Kazuare and the chairman of the New People Democratic Party (nPDP), Kawu Baraje.
Spokesperson for the PDP, Olisa Metuh announced the suspension of the dissidents at a press conference in Abuja. He said that the case of the suspended members has been referred to the party’s disciplinary committee for further action.
Metuh claimed that his party has not received the court judgement reinstating Oyinlola as the Secretary of the party and would therefore not comment on the issue.
