ALAUSA, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria – It was an anti-climax of robbery operation for a young robber who specialises in picking the pockets of unsuspecting residents when he directed his pick pocketing skills towards a man at Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
Uknown to him, his target was an officer of the Rapid Response Squad(RRS) the anti-crime outfit of the Lagos State Government on surveillance duty at Alausa. The young robber was arrested. He has been detained and will spend the night in the cell of the RRS in Alausa.
“This lad just picked the pocket of an undercover RRS officer on surveillance duty around Alausa Ikeja. He was caught in the act and arrested. He will be spending the nite with us and we will make sure he’s well served before his transfer tomorrow. @TunjiDisu1

Officials of the RRS also arrested a sydicate who specialises in diverting unsuspecting passengers to an unknown destination where they are robbed at gun point.
“Police don catch dem , this syndicate pick passengers with Keke Maruwa ,take them to isolated places and rob them at gunpoint . Learn to understand your instincts please”, the RRS said in a statement.
