    AT EID EL-FITR BARU HAILS STAFF FOR RESTORING NORMALCY TO PMS SUPPLY

    ABUJA, Nigeria – The Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Dr. Maikanti Baru, has expressed felicitation to all the staff of the corporation on the Eid el-Fitr celebration observed Friday across the Country. A release by the Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division of the corporation, Mr. Ndu Ughamadu, stated that Dr. Baru’s message was contained in a wee-hour mail broadcast the GMD personally released Friday.




    Wishing them happy celebration, Dr. Baru congratulated all NNPC staff on restoring sanity to the supply of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), otherwise called petrol, to nation.

    Mr. Ughamadu relayed that in a later brief by the GMD, Dr. Baru charged the staff of the corporation to continue to work assiduously with a view to achieving the aspirations of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration for the industry.

    The release said Dr. Baru seized the opportunity of the festival to further assure that NNPC would not relent in making desired contribution to the economy of the Country.

    The GMD thanked Nigerians from all walks of life for their support, adding that he would continue to count on them to curb the challenges of pipeline vandalism, among other vices, plaguing the Industry.
